Bio

Marie Gauthier (she/her) works as the marketing project editor at Pioneer Valley Books. She is a Franklin County regional representative for Mass Poetry, organizer of the Collected Poets Series, and founding president of the League of Women Voters of Franklin County. She serves on the LWVMA board, and co-chairs the LWVMA Membership Committee. In a previous life she managed the Jeffery Amherst Bookshop in Amherst, Mass, and worked as Director of Sales & Marketing at Tupelo Press.

Marie’s first full-length collection, Leave No Wake, is forthcoming from Pine Row Press in early 2022. Her poems have appeared in many journals, including Literary MamaThe West Review,  LinebreakCave Wall, Sugar House Review, Hunger Mountain, Crab Creek Review, The Grove Review, Poetry Northwest, The Common, and elsewhere.

The recipient of a 2008 Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Prize, and Honorable Mention in 2010, she’s also the author of a chapbook, Hunger All Inside (Finishing Line Press, 2009).
